Fall is a lady.

The languid summer party dwindles into,

sameness (as it always does).  Today was yesterday,

yesterday was August,

and as for what you did on the 4th, who can

possibly remember such ancient times ?

Then She enters the room.

A flittery nod to Franky and his Groove Gang retire their lazy heartbeat tempo and tap out a snappy four count.  Horns, brassy and bold, roar to life. It's go time.!

Twirling and whirling in her gown of gold and red, Fall shouts "keep it

cookin’!”

Awakened from our slumber, everything is fresh, everything is new.

Let it all combust! Tomorrow

is only a possibility, not a certainty.

Ever hear anyone diss Fall?

Of course not!  A lady knows when to leave. When she makes her French exit, make yours too.

After all, no one likes a party leftover ...
